How VibesUGC uses cookies and browser storage to keep your workspace working.

1. What browser storage does
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with matching website requests. Local storage keeps information in the browser between visits. VibesUGC uses these technologies for sign-in and workspace functionality.
2. Sign-in cookies
The authentication service uses a session cookie, normally named better-auth.session_token with a secure prefix on HTTPS, to recognize a signed-in account. Sessions are configured for seven days and can be renewed during use. Additional authentication cookies may be used when needed for session management.
3. Workspace preferences and local storage
The sidebar_state cookie remembers whether the sidebar is open and is configured to last seven days. Browser-local storage also remembers saved ideas, default characters and demos, library and job caches, and creative settings. Account-related storage is namespaced to the signed-in user.
Local storage generally persists until the app replaces or removes it, or you clear the site’s data. Signing out does not necessarily clear these preferences or cached information from a shared device.
4. Analytics, advertising, and external services
The current application does not include an advertising pixel or optional analytics integration. Loading media from external hosts shares request information, such as your IP address, with those hosts. Visiting linked third-party websites is subject to their own cookie policies.
If optional tracking is introduced, this policy and the relevant user choices must be updated, with prior consent where required by applicable law.
5. Your controls
You can block cookies or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking sign-in cookies may prevent access to the workspace. Clearing local storage can remove saved ideas and preferences that exist only on that browser; it does not erase server-stored accounts or media.
